There are many homosexual men who would disagree with you that other people using the f-word empowers them. Would you think sticking the n-word into a positive word is okay? Additionally, would you be okay with using the n-word because you were Latina?

IT WAS A JOKE doesn't really fly as an excuse for slurs.
Well, as a queer person, I don't consider fag a slur, but a word that has been reappropriated as a term of empowerment, same as dyke and well, queer.
Also, fagtastic is punning on a positive word, fantastic, so really, I don't see your offense. However, know that I meant none.
